RETAILTUNE with SKY ITALIA to strenghten the online visibility in the territory

Sky trusted the platform to develop a strong Drive to Store and Local Digital Marketing activity

Sky Italia has chosen RetailTune to strenghten and coordinate the online store presence on the territory.

Sky Italia, a media & entertainment company born in 2003, is part of the Sky group, one of the leaders of entertainment in Europe. The group is controlled by Comcast Corporation, an international media & technology company. Customer assistance and care have always been one of the Group’s goals, to better satisfy requests and increase customer loyalty.

From this point of view, physical stores offering assistance and services are strategic, because they are the place in which the customer can find expertise, professionalism and support. It is no coincidence that, since 2018, Sky has relied on the RetailTune platform with the aim of strenghtening and coordinating the online store presence and develop a strong Drive to Store and Local Digital Marketing activity.

Thanks to the RetailTune platform, we started from the online management of over 200 Sky Service, i.e. service centers of local enterpreneurs with Sky corners. All digital touchpoints of the store have been made coherent and coordinated, to always offer correct information to the customer and direct them towards the physical store. The Google Business Profile listings have played a relevant role in this process: while leaving room for the initiatives of the single enterpreneur, the focus has been on brand recognition, thus harmonizing partnership and online presence.

Subsequently the RetailTune platform was also distibuted to the whole monobrand Sky network. Also in this case the Google Business Profile listings have been constantly updated by including products and photos, and with more punctual answers to the reviews left by customers. A work that allowed to increase consumer engagement and to improve the positioning and visibility of such an important touchpoint.

The monobrand stores have also been provided with the B2B RetailTune app that allows the single store to manage its opening hours and convey them to all touchpoints.

The results of the activity are good: over the last four months over 13 million views and more than 250,000 actions taken by users on listings (website visits, get directions, calls) have been recorded on Google Business Profile listings.

Furthermore, from September there is a news: the extension of the platform to the over 250 Shop in Shop and Sky Hub present in the most important shopping arcades and chains of consumer electronics.

“We are proud to have the opportunity to deepen our partnership with Sky, one of the leading brands in Europe in its field – says Claudio Agazzi, CEO and founder of RetailTune – A varied and widespread network that offers an important service to the customer. Through RetailTune, we wanted to strenghten the consumers’ phygital experience by offering accurate information, listening and assistance already online. We are moving in a context in which local searches have increased by 300% over the last two years and Google rewards those who are able to provide detailed information. On the other hand, zero-click searches, those that do not lead to a website visit, have increased, reaching 71% of the total, especially via mobile. It goes without saying that controlling Google organic results and especially the Google Business Profile listing is fundamental . This is where we give information to customers. Sky, with foresight, believed and invested in this and we are nothing but grateful”.
